ILLA Experience Hotel proudly announces winning the Gold award in “Employing and Upskilling Local Communities” at the 2024 LATA Responsible Tourism Awards. This honor, received at the LATA Expo Gala Dinner, celebrates excellence in responsible tourism across Latin America.
Our community project partners with 40 local families, offering unique cultural experiences at Illa Experience Hotel. We also collaborate with INES restaurant on the NEST project, training young culinary talent from underserved areas with full housing and scholarships.
Dr. Harold Goodwin praised the high-quality entries, highlighting the efforts to promote responsible tourism in Latin America. This award reinforces our commitment to sustainable tourism and community development.
